“The Art Wall”


A series of small, contemporary and inspirational group exhibitions

Dewsbury Library is pleased to host this year-long programme in collaboration with 9 artists from North Kirklees.

We would like to invite you to join us for the preview evening for the first of three main exhibitions starting with the artworks of John Chamberlain, Anjum Dar and Mark Hooley in response to the theme “Animals and the Written Word”

We look forward to seeing you at the preview evening: Thursday 30th September, 6:30 – 8:00pm, Dewsbury Library, Dewsbury Retail Park, Railway Street, Dewsbury, WF12 8EQ,

Wine, nibbles and refreshments will be served

If you can’t join us on the evening why not visit the show in your own time between 31st – 8th November

Information regarding further shows will follow nearer the time

1. get pumpkin

2. be happy about it

3. get 3 for a pound ghosts, bats and scheletons from TESCO

4. decide to cook ghost shaped merengues using a Sainsbury’s recipe

5. think how to make chocolate buttons in house for ghasty merengue eyes

6. get sweets for kids

7. protect the sweets from your own kids

8. convince your partner that having dead leaves in the hallway is actually fun

9. have a heart to heart talk with your black cat about not knocking down your pumpkin, and chandeliers you want to put in the window…
