I got a figure!

I wasn’t never ever one for diets! I am a normal in the head, food loving, regular next door neighbour woman.

But after quitting smoking, pregnancy, post natal and credit crunch depression I jumped from size 10-12 to 16-18. Not good.

Hating the folds of fat/skin forming.
I decided I can try to do something about it, if I have no power to change British economy, I can do something about my weight.

A great inspiration is my friend Liz. She’s soo get up and do it and she always looked amazing- I bet she would beat Scarlet O’hara’s waist!!!

So after a visit with my boy, and a lot of off loading and ” me too-s” I have started.

First replaced potatoes with nice yummy risotto and red meat with fish.

I won’t lie to you, there have been some stomach noises at night.

Exercise wise; 8 minutes abs every day, 30-45 minutes aerobic a week, cleaning, tidying and taking care of my baby son.

Then I installed the daily burn app- for free and followed the calories and exercises-you enter the food and exercise and it tells you how many calories you have eaten and how many you burned! It works! It feels like a facebook repetition game.

And Saturday – while dressing I noticed how legere the top was flowing around my body! The scale says, finally, that I lost 4 kilos!

I was looking in the mirror and had the most amazing feeling; I was loving myself!

And also it seemed to have changed the dynamics of our marriage to the better. It used to be rocky and snappy after a very raw last couple of years.

Everything turned to harmonious living, loving and we seem to recover some of the nice energy from the beginning of the relationship.
